JAROMIR PEKLOJaromir Peklo has over 15 years of relevant experience in finance, management and consulting in CEE, including top management functions or mandates with leading banking and real estate investment institutions in the region. He specializes in corporate strategy, transformations and corporate recovery. Prior to establishing AETHEON CAPITAL, Jaromir served in the Czech Republic as Member of the Executive Board of Dexia, a leading infrastructure and project financing investment bank. His prior experience includes 4 years as Manager in transformations team of Deloitte, 4 years as Senior Officer in Treasury and Investment Banking with Raiffeisenbank, and 3 years as Business Development Executive in financial and commodity brokerage industry. Jaromir Peklo holds an MBA from INSEAD, studied Private Equity and Finance at Wharton School of Business, University of Pennsylvania, holds honors Master’s degree in Economics and Management and a PhD in Organizational Theory and Corporate Governance from University of Economics Prague, where he also continues to lecture Corporate Governance in international CEMS program.

STEPAN DLOUHYStepan Dlouhy has over 13 years of experience with management consulting, investment banking and private equity in the CEE region. He specializes in corporate restructuring, investment analysis, financial management, Public Private Partnerships (PPP) & infrastructure finance. Stepan’s industry experience includes infrastructure, transport, logistic & aviation, manufacturing, real estate, construction and public. Before setting up AETHEON CAPITAL Stepan served as Manager in the Consulting practice of Deloitte Czech Republic. Stepan was head of Deloitte Czech Republic Program Management & PPP service line being responsible for business development and management of PPP, real estate and infrastructure advisory projects. During his six years with Deloitte, Stepan participated in various engagements in areas of strategic business planning, corporate performance improvement, financial restructuring and value based management in various CEE countries. Prior to joining Deloitte, Stepan worked five years as a financial & investment analyst in Prague branch of Austrian private investment bank Bank Gutmann, one year in Unicorn Investments and one year in Creditanstalt investment company. Stepan started his professional career with summer internship in London office of Central Europe Trust, private equity and corporate finance advisory firm. Stepan’s investment banking and corporate
finance experience includes sell-side and buy-side M&A
advisory work within CEE region, numerous investment
analyses, commercial & financial due diligence, corporate
restructuring, distress debt management, valuation and
financial modeling. Stepan’s NPLs, distressed assets &
workout experience includes work for consortia formed by
Bank Gutmann and Deutsche Bank Real Estate Private Equity
Group focused on acquisitions of non-performing loans in CEE
countries.

ZDENEK RADILZdenek Radil has over 10 years of relevant experience in the CEE region. He has started his professional career in the Czech National Bank; later, he held the position of Head of Risk Management in SPT TELECOM (the legal predecessor of Telefónica O2 Czech Republic) and in AliaChem. In 1999, he joined Alcatel as Treasurer, being responsible for the treasury activities in Central and Eastern Europe. He also worked for Deloitte & Touche as project manager in the areas of risk and treasury management, finance and restructuring. In January 2005, he was appointed Chief Risk Management Officer in ČESKÝ TELECOM Group (the legal predecessor of Telefónica O2 Czech Republic), being responsible – as a member of the executive management – for risk management in the entire Group. He also participated in transformation and consequent privatisation of this company. Consequently he was nominated to the position of Chief Internal Audit and Risk Management Officer by the new majority owner - Telefónica Group where he was recently responsible also for integration of the company into new structure. During his career Zdeněk Radil has identified, analysed, prepared and realised several investments together with other private equity investors. Main investments are within the area of Food and Beverages and Financial services. |
